Why does shopping make us happy?

Feeling a bit out of sorts today, I decided to scan through Amazon to see the "Deal of the Day."  Immediately, my spirits were lightened! Did I need anything in particular today...no...but did viewing and adding items to "My Wish List" make me feel better...absolutely.

The item for me today was a beautiful amethyst butterfly necklace...Christmas in July Priced! Just seeing this item made me smile.  I know, crazy.  But it did.  Perhaps there is a psychic connection to the fact that my birthstone is an amethyst and I would love to fly like a butterfly. Whatever the connection, it worked.

Just look at it...it is so simple, yet so beautiful...you want it too, don't you!  Well, if this doesn't do it for you, I highly suggest you take a gander yourself at what other great opportunities await you online...you just might find your "happy zone," you won't have to leave the house to get it, and it might not cost you much at all!
