My oldest has graduated from 8th grade. It was a great night, and while I found the urge to cry the entire way to the ceremony, I had no emotional outbursts at the event! I was so excited and proud of these students--of all the 8th graders, every single one of them was an active participant in some way, shape or form at the junior high. Whether they were on the honor roll for at least one quarter, competed in sports, participated in plays, orchestra or band, or were part of one of the many student organizations at the school, every single student stood who had participated in some activity. This is our future...and I am feeling extremely optimistic about them!
