I don't really have a "bucket list", per se, but there are a few things I've never done and would love to do before I die. My boys, on the other hand, apparently do have "bucket lists" and have been crossing things off regularly these days. Some I am happy about...some, not so much.

My youngest tried water skiing for the first time this summer while we were in Maine, and he is addicted. He asks often when we can take him water skiing again...the challenge is that we don't live on a lake, do not have a ski boat, and do not own skis. Still, he asks, and I was happy for him when he told me "one more thing to cross of that bucket list!"

My oldest son and I recently spent some time in the Emergency Room due to a nasty gash on his arm from football. He needed to get stitches, and while waiting for the Dr. to come back into the room with the "needle and thread", my son announced that he had always wanted to get stitches, and that this was just one more thing to cross off his bucket list.
While I'm thrilled my boys have put this much thought and effort into what they want to accomplish in life, I was a bit surprised that stitches made this list...then again, they are boys!
